KONA believes in women empowerment. To ensure access to economic freedom, women were provided need base loan. Women from grassroot level came to KONA and received loan to become entrepreneurs. They bought cows, reared goats, set up grocery shops and tea stalls to include themselves in the mainstream financial system like that of  their male counterparts.
